To start off the new year, we had a wonderful workshop with young girls and teenagers from the Nguru community in Imo State. Power Up Girl project taught school-age girls about their reproductive health, and provided reusable sanitary towels and personal hygiene kits to last a six months. The workshop educated girls from the community on entrepreneurship and provided practical experience in skills building and hand-work training through a skills acquisition activities.
